If you have "no place to go," come here!

Zubeidat Tsarnaeva's interview from Russia

The Times buries the lead:

Ms. Tsarnaeva expressed some of her greatest anger when one questioner said Dzhokhar had told officials that the brothers were motivated by an extreme interpretation of Islam. She said Dzhokhar’s lawyers had assured her that he could not yet speak or write.*

“Where does this information come from?” she shouted.

Good point. Would have been nice, at this point, if the reporter had followed up with Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's public defender.

NOTE * Indeed, the bedside hearing where Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was Mirandized says that he "nodded affirmatively." And therefore did speak or write.

I see a parent's incredible anguish….

However, there’s an issue of source credibility here (even beyond your note).

I’ve seen her give at least two inconsistent (flatly conflicting) accounts of her last phone conversation with Tamerlan. In one account that she gave, Tamerlan last called her Thursday morning, hours before the shootout. LA Times article entitled “Bomb suspect's mother: Tamerlan Tsarnaev's touching call
“When [Tamerlan] talked to me that last time, Dzhokhar was in his house too, and he said he would give him a lift home,” their mother said. “And then the next day my daughter Bella called me and said, ‘Mama, turn on the television.’ ... Now I live with the television turned on at all times,” she said, crying again.
“He would call me every day from America in the last days,”…. “and during our last conversation on the morning [before the shootout], he was especially touching and tender and alarmed at the same time,” she said. “He said he got a private phone call from [the FBI] and said that they told him he was under suspicion and should come see them.”“‘If you need me, you will find me,’ he said, and hung up,”

In another account that she gave, Tamerlan’s last call to her was mid-shootout:
"The police, they have started shooting at us, they are chasing us," Mrs. Tsarnaeva says Tamerlan told her. "Mama, I love you." Then the phone went silent.

Also, in the NY Times article - Zubeidat Tsarnaeva: “ ‘Do you see any aggression in Tamerlan?’ ” she quoted the agents as saying. “No, I did not.”
Well, let's see....
Tamerlan arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery against his girlfriend
Boxing champ (e.g. New England Golden Gloves heavyweight champ)
Amazon wishlist including six books on the mafia, such as: "Blood and Honor: Inside the Scarfo Mob, the Mafia's Most Violent Family". Then there's also "Using Your Voice to Captivate, Persuade and Command Attention", etc.
His YouTube account (with username "muazseyfullah", which apparently translated as "Muaz sword of Allah") included a two video "Terrorism" playlist (consisting of two versions of "Rabbanikaly Amir Abu Dujana - Appeal to the militia"), videos such as "The Emergence of Prophecy: The Black Flags From Khorasan" (Al Qaeda-promoted), a radical Islamicist rant entitled "Harry Potter (In For A Surprise)", etc.

Moreover, I'll note that, Zubeidat Tsarnaeva was also apparently a 911 Truther (former client Alyssa Kilzer: "she started quoting a conspiracy theory, telling me that she thought 9-11 was purposefully created by the American government to make America hate Muslims."), and she speculated that the Boston marathon bombing never really occurred (1:45 mark: “You know, I saw a very, very interesting video last night that the marathon was something like a really big play. There is, like, paint instead of blood, like it is made-up something”). Other bits of info also give me pause regarding stability/credibility (e.g., though you never know what the actual circumstances were in that case). As far as accuracy, her current state of extreme distress might be a factor as well.

-----------------------------
Also, something not directly related, but interesting.

On a second tangential note – here’s a link to Andrew Kitzenberg’s eyewitness account of the shootout, along with the photos he took.

P.S. A lot of false info floating around in police statements and MSM reports regarding the Boston bombing (as noted e.g. 1,2,3,4,5). Certain to fuel CT.

I'd still like to know the precise question, though: Did the authorities say that Tshockhar talked when in fact he was not able to?

* * *

It's really difficult to disentangle the CT -- the mentality reminds me of the endless accumulation of capital, except in the realm of false connections or short circuits -- from the lies and the bullshit and the mistakes and the fog of war, especially when there are actual conspiracies. (I mean, we've got two American intelligence services at least circling around Tamerlan, plus the Russians, and it what are the odds that one of them at least turned him in some way?) What a fucking mess.

And therefore did speak or write.

Didn't

Then still the info comes in, goes out to be corrected than back it sure isn't going well for bpd, fbi, or cia at this time but I'm sure this will be over come once they get the story straight and will be sold to the sheeple by corp. media. Then again may be another war will start up to take away the bright lights from this.
