What can you do besides blog for single payer? Part 4. Put your ass on the line for HR 676

part 3 [yeah, i skipped it]
part 2
part 1

I've been slogging through the HELP! committee's 97% bill [we'll cover almost anyone! as long as they're not wetbacks! yes, there's a very specific no illegal aliens clause in there] and my eyes are glazing over. Plus, all this floating of trial balloons and having of conference calls and releasing of drafts just sucks energy away from the most important thing we need to be doing -- securing the blessings of single payer to ourselves and our posterity.

And we're not to going to secure those blessings by going all wonky and analyzing every last horsefeather they're waving under our noses.

Time to return to the 198-fold way. Your congresscritters are supposed to be in their home burrows districts this weekend, If you can't buttonhole them at some public function [and you should try], maybe you can demonstrate what you think of their idea of coverage.

And that wasn't just a one-time affair, either; it's ongoing [with mariachis!].
