If you have "no place to go," come here!

They forgot the cables!

At Fukushima, on the day of the earthquake and tsunami, when it came time to connect mobile generators to the reactors, they didn't have the right cables .

Say, I've got an idea!

Maybe TEPCO and the Philadelphia Orchestra could trade managements. Nobody would be worse off, and maybe the change of scene would lead to improvements...

deflect from truth: (from the article)
"....it is now becoming more and more clear that the nuclear radiation crisis is partially a man-made disaster." (bold mine)
Really? Partially a man-made disaster? You mean that nuclear power just arises naturally from the earth, and it's just a failure of mankind to effectively "corral" it? Kinda like waterfalls, solar, and windpower and such? This disaster is a 100% man-made. The pollution "apologists" have attempted to use the same type of excuses to minimize the damage of the Macondo well disaster, "there's always a number of natural leaks of oil from the seabed in the Gulf", so ergo, that disaster was only partially man-made, as well as dismiss the effects of petroleum by-products in the atmosphere, the oceans, etc. Language is everything, and the right-wing corporatists have understood that concept, and used it to their advantage to pollute not only our planet, but our discourse!

My only quibble with your comment is "right-wing corporatists" -- it's all corporatists, right, left, Martian, whatever.
