The one Kos post I wish I could find

This headline made me think of it again:

President Obama to Democrats: 'Keep your powder dry'

The post was a grand tour of the actual cavern where the Democrats keep their dry powder. There were barrels and barrels of the stuff, kept in catacombs, possibly. I recall the post was vaguely like The Inferno, in that the poster had an older and more experienced guide, whose job was to explain why all that powder had to be kept dry.

So, I'm posting this on the off chance that another reader remembers the same post; periodically, I search for it, but I've never been able to find it. Readers?

In The Vaults Where The Dry Powder Is Stored

Like you, I have watched, these past six years, the Democrats, over and over and over again, collapse when confronted by George W. Bush. Like you, I have heard these Democrats say, every time, as they raced past in headlong retreat, that they were just "keeping our powder dry" for more propitious moments in which to strike blows against the Empire.

How absolutely hilarious! He's asking them not to shoot...because they are aiming at a pet program of his, the Trans-Pacific Partnership. Gosh Mr. President, if you wouldn't champion trade treaties that would decimate the Democratic base, Democratic senators wouldn't feel the need to point their guns at you. Jackass.

Whenever they call I force them to eat all this stuff. Unfortunately the "deciders" aren't making the calls. Just kids and hungry folks hired off the street working from a script. Oh well, "buck up!"

LOL The author of that diary was banned for writing a diary that danced on the grave a dead soldier. Markos was incensed and even deleted the diary. It was pretty ugly but then so was blueness who is one of the worst Obama apologists on the internet, He and his cohorts that hung out in the bi-weekly Black Kos diaries are ready to call you a racist in a heartbeat He may be gone but the others remain.

That poster must have either been very disappointed (or, alternatively, totally delusional).

Maybe this was the one greater post they had in them.

to be honest, blueness was probably one of the most intelligent and brilliant writers at DK but became obsessed with supporting Obama and all his policies. He lead the pack in the race/white privileged diaries that have at times dominated the discussions there. I learned that getting involved in those discussions and hoping for rational debate is hopeless.
