If I could figure out how to post some pictures, I'd give Corrente some wonderful Arizona Insectidotes! But, alas.....

Take a shot if any of these happen:

1. Someone compares Syria and Bahrain.
2. Someone says Gitmo should be closed.
3. Someone mentions the administration's xtrevilist definition of 'militant.'
4. Any CIA-backed coup is mentioned.
5. Someone suggests legalizing drugs to stop feeding the cartels.
6. Someone suggests the US doesn't need to have military bases all around the world.
7. Someone suggests lifting the complete failure that is the Cuban embargo.
8. etc.

it looked as if Romney wanted to fire this pesky non-Dot Zero One Percenter immediately. How dare The Help speak critically to him?

As a non-Obama voter, I have to admit that Romney actually made Obama look fairly good tonight.

However, we still have a piss poor choice. I am not voting legacy, once again.

Foreign policy of the uniparties--identical.

Not much difference in economic policy, but maybe they'll slip up and say something substantive, that we can hold them to. Yeah, I know, got a bridge to sell me, if I actually believe that will happen. LOL!

Start out by asking whether they'll pledge to defend Israel and then turn it around and ask whether that would adequately deter Iran. Brilliant. Of course, their only skill is dodging questions, so it doesn't really matter. But still very clever and concise.

... I think in fact that he's right, as I recall from the Op-Ed. Which is why Obama is interrupting him.

Romney sounds good (I'm not watching, or listening to content). You see why Bain brought him in as a closer.

Submitted by jawbone on

the auto companies for pennies on the dollar, closed US plants, given a death blow to unions, sent manufacturing overseas, and Bain would have made a bundle. Bush and Obama both removed that golden opportunity from him. Seriously.

L'etat c'est moi.

This debate reminds me of the druggies I hear on the bus arguing about which downs are the best, how they manage their dosages, and their sources of supply.

Submitted by lambert on

... but Romney becomes lyrical when talking about money, and talking about business.

When Obama really believes in something, he gets irritable because not everybody already believes him.

Thanks again for putting all this together so I didn't have to watch this pair of lying clowns.

And Bob Schieffer was the moderator? Where do they dig up these fossils? I thought he died years ago. Anyone know for sure, not that that would be a disqualification for these debates?

As for Romney co-opting Obama's foreign policy, we should recognize that turn about is fair play. This is what Obama did with Bush's.
