Green Party nominee arrested in Philly bank sit-in
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein and her running mate have been arrested at a sit-in at a Philadelphia bank over housing foreclosures.
I hope they go across the country getting arrested protesting foreclosures. What a great campaign idea.

"Police say they will face charges of defiant trespassing."
Defiant!! Well now, that sounds like an upgrade from regular old garden variety trespassing -- very impressive!
And yes, what a great way to distinguish yourself from Rombama (or whatever the composite name is) -- by actually doing something for the people who are getting shafted right and left. Remarkable!!
Defiant? as contrasted to?
Sure puts Obama's rhetoric about 'walking the lines' into a concrete perspective.
I suppose the D talking point will be "publicity stunt"....
... if they talk about it at all. Well, if the PR is so great, then why isn't The Greatest Orator of Our Time doing it? Or having some surrogate take the fall, if he's too busy raising money?
NOTE I'd also note the Philly location, near Honkala's home place. That argues to me that there's some support structure on the ground, exactly (if I am right) the sort of patient building at ground level we've all been on about.....
The source is pretty funny
Business Week!
They get it, even if the career "progressive" blogs don't!
she's on the ballot in PA
PA, NJ on ballot, bring Stein closer to 40+ state goal
That's actually an amazing accomplishment
A few weeks ago, that was deemed hopeless. They had to get 20,000 signatures which would normally take months.
They got double that in a few weeks. It's particularly inspiring considering all the voter nonsense going on in PA right now.
