Spam Poetry

MJS's picture

A spam email arrived in my inbox with the following text:

Edwyn, a pallid, slender man with a pinched nose and lank dark hair. Under a blue lambswool Do you have a horse? A mule? You do not know his strength. Hes been gathering men on Pyke. Orkwood of Orkmont brought ourselves for winter.red priest, and now this woman Stoneheart . . . how do you propose to find them, when I cannot? The day had been cold and grey and wet. It had poured all morning, and even when the rain stopped

I decided this would make a decent poem, and so arranged the text into a more or less poetic form:

Edwyn
a pallid,
slender man
with
a
pinched
nose
and lank dark hair.
Under a blue lambswool

Do you have a horse? A mule?
You do not know his strength.
He’s been gathering men on Pyke.

Orkwood of Orkmont

brought ourselves for winter.
red priest,

and now this woman Stoneheart…
how do you propose to find them,
when I cannot?

The day had been cold and grey and wet.

It
had
poured
all
morning

Keeping the punctuation from the original spam email, how might you, dear reader, reformat the text to a more poetic end?

thats funny because i began saving "poetic spam" like last year n a text file. i have scads of it. its the creepiest shit you can imagine. because it seems to have a hand, but no heart. tho better quality as-is than some on the nets, i must admit.
