I haven't heard whether he wants Chicagoans to pay for his gas, though.
All that's in addition to his pension and health care, while Chicago runs a deficit.
The decision on whether he gets all these perks is up to Rahm.
I lived in Chicago til 1980, and still live in a very close suburb. This really pisses me off.

In the recent election, Rahm replaced him as candidate, and won. Rahm is now replacing him as mayor.
The photo above is an exit/victory lap/blabfest. Aside from the 20-plus years Chicagoans took it in the back from him, there's no real back story.
