Bill advances to study single-payer health care

A House committee has approved a bill that could set the stage for a single-payer health care system, potentially leading to a major change in the way Coloradans get and pay for medical care.

Never forget our fall back position, there must be no federal bill that prohibits the states from enacting their own single payer system.

in his position paper to possibly not stand in the way of single payer (and considering its integrated digital record, clinic and pharmacy systems are already in place), this might be very significant, if the for-profit systems don't kill it, first.

Kaiser is a big force in Colorado, so we should watch how it responds to this bill.
