Not to rub it in MR SUBLIMINAL Awwww, you're no fun!, but was it ever in your hands? MR SUBLIMINAL As opposed to on your hands?

NOTE * It's right there in the preamble to Obama's platform:

“A great nation now demands that its leaders abandon the politics of partisan division ..."

So, you guys who are all "Those Republicans are teh suxx0r," stop trying to undermine Obama's leadership!

Is This Much Different...

...than the rule for the other side of this thing, though, and to an even greater extent? Remember, having to preface any criticism of Obama with "I'm not a racist, and he's a great guy, but..."? You know, the having to go through the whole haka about how great it was that someone of Obama's identity had come so far?

So, is the issue about, here, excessive pleasantries?

But, we've always been at war with Eastasia...

The answer is "YES!"

If your opponent is a Republican. The answer is "NO!" if your opponent is Hillary Rodham Clinton.
