If you have "no place to go," come here!

"sidecar"

I keep hearing the Dems are going for a "reconciliation sidecar" on health insurance reform [sic], so I thought I'd look the word up. Turns out a sidecar is a cocktail:

The sidecar is a classic cocktail which most bartenders know, but seems to be rarely ordered. Part of this is because it is poorly made, and more often than not made with sour mix instead of fresh ingredients

Yeah, no shit.

What's wrong with these people?

if it's made with with fresh organic lemon juice, pure organic cane sugar, Grand Marnier and the best Cognac, it's still basically just a brandy sour with enough orange scent to put off anyone who ever got loaded on Kamikazes in college.

Would you drink something handed to you by a member of congress? I should hope not.
