Might want to take a look at the margin of error of those polls you're citing -- or rather, the polls cited by the articles you're citing. Not to mention the sample size. Odds are if you're american, if you call your self american, if you have live in the US for more than five years and assimilated to the culture,if you use the categories of identification white, black, hispanic, other, native american, you are a racist. Can't really get away from it. It's hardwired into the system. That is how folk get to be white and black. Furthermore if you read my blog you will see that racial discrimination is a subconscious phenomen of our (those of american culture)system of discernment and judgement. Are you aware, even, that Obama is currently leading among white women in the latest CBS poll? That any swing away from him is now over, even if it was a true swing and not just a function of the margin of error?

And maybe ask yourself if there's maybe just possibly a reason that Obama might not be doing as well as you'd like him to be doing among white women other than racism. Such as not saying a damn word about contraception or the attempt to change the rules at HHS so that contraception and other forms of reproductive health care will be next to impossible to get if anyone in a medical office or pharmacy objects. Or simply assuming that he has their votes and being put out when they wouldn't just get in line. Or letting his supporters be complete misogynistic asswipes without saying anything.

You say the same two things over and over, that it was the corruption and misogyny, or, misogyny and corruption, of the primary that turned Clinton supporters away from Obama and they don't hear you. And the McCain campaign totally reached out to Clinton supporters, nominated a woman VP and suddenly looks like the woman-friendly party which may be why women are fleeing the Democratic Party. They have a place to go.

You do realize there are women in Obama's campaign and after Fiorina got bounced I think he has more than McCain. Hell, I won't even count Michelle. This is why I asked how pissed are you? McCain is worse on women's issues, hell Palin is worse on women's issues. You realize she is running for VP. Which means she gets to break a tie, and go do public relations. Dick Cheney she ain't. And McCain has so much confidence in her that the only way she gets to run the show is if he's dead and gone (come on just say t with me - tokenism). So clearly the decision isn't one of ploicy.
