Here's the QOTD, from the excellent Salon's review of Matt Bai's little book:

[Rahm] Emanuel snarls: "I have my knee on their vertebrae, and I'm not going to let up on the pressure until I hear the vertebrae snap."

What's that sound I hear?

It's not snapping vertabrae.

It's ***crickets***.

It's so nice and quiet, I think I'll sleep now.
