Fiery Skipper (female) / Hylefila phyleus
I went out today to see if I could catch some interesting early tree color change (and didn't, it's still not really much turned here in NJ.) Instead the last of the daisies (or asters?) had a huge crowd of bees and these guys, and I don't know if it's a butterfly or a moth.
Update: YesMaybe is right, definitely a female fiery skipper. Thanks!

Looks like a skipper butterfly
Maybe fiery skipper, or maybe another kind of skipper.
