Since the only requirement on HCR is "some bill, any bill" ....
... the odds for passing a "historic" bill -- by which I mean a bill that all the serious folks, including career "progressives" label "historic" -- are very good indeed.

I think it's great to call our Congress critters, and brighten the days of their staffers with reasoned talking points that obviously aren't canned in whatever PR shop Andy Stern's paying, but I think we're laying down markers for calling bullshit on the bill as soon as it passes and starts to kill people after taking their money.
Which, ironically, is exactly the kind of pressure from the left that career "progressives" ought to welcome. It's a funny old world.
