Now that Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee has compared himself to Jesus Christ perhaps he should inquire, "What would Jesus do about victims of AIDS."
Clearly, that was not Huckabee's train of thought back in 1992.
In 1992, Huckabee wrote:
“It is difficult to understand the public policy towards AIDS. It is the first time in the history of civilization in which the carriers of a genuine plague have not been isolated from the general population, and in which this deadly disease for which there is no cure is being treated as a civil rights issue instead of the true health crisis it represents.”
"If the federal government is truly serious about doing something with the AIDS virus, we need to take steps that would isolate the carriers of this plague.”
How Christian of the dear Governor! So much for healing the sick.

Idiot-itis
I consider stupidity and offensive personalities a plague on the world. Where shall we lock Huckabee up?
Huckabee Post
Couldn't agree more. Great post!
AIDS "Victims"
Funny.
"Scientific" consensus decides that AIDS is the new PLAGUE and idiots like those on this blog make fun of the only person honest enough to REALLY fix the problem.
Huckabee took the AIDS fiasco seriously. As "science" condemned a world to the "scourge of AIDS", you folks were advocating free-sex and glorifying immoral behaviour.
Now...who's the idiot?
Wrong On So Many Levels
Al-Ozarka, I don't know where to start with that comment. So I won't.
What frightens me, is that there might be a lot of people out there that actually agree with your views on this matter.
For that, I refer you to Jen's comment above and advocate you join the Governor in not only his sentiments regarding "fixing" the problem but in Jen's solution for those who agree.

Christ
Jesus is the Saviour of all and I believe in Jesus Christ and very soon he going to give a replay in the form of medicine to cure the AIDS completely from the world by his followers and believers.
