Oh, boy! A new book from Kos!

I think there was a transcription error in Kos's interview on HuffPo. As-written, a section about how the internet has changed politics:

...if you were in Chicago, you'd basically be stuck in Chicago politics or limited to a ballot in your own precinct.

I believe what he meant to say was:

...if you were in Chicago, you'd basically be stuck in Chicago politics. But now everyone can enjoy Chicago politics!

Also, why do I start thinking Soylent Green when I hear Kos using the term "people-powered media"? I guess that's just part of being a paranoid holdout....

He should call this one "Wrecking the Party"

as a sequel to "Crashing the Gates."

Snark From Cannonfire

In the latest Reuters/Zogby poll, John McCain takes a five point lead over Barack Obama.

When asked about this development, Markos Moulitsas said: "Maybe this PUMA thing is hurting us. Maybe telling the Clinton voters to get out of the party wasn't such a good idea after all. Maybe we should apologize to them -- show a little humility -- instead of insulting them all the time."

(Guess which paragraph is the snark)
