Notice the implement at left?
(Full text; Bloomberg covers the tremendously-not-malaise-inducing oratory here; the Obama 527 Formerly Known As Daily Kos gives a remarkably content-free reaction, even for them.)
Heck, if you want to "summon" my "spirit," just give me something better than that piece of shit the Senate just labored to emit, which is so bad it disproves the adage that something is always better than nothing.
And no, I don't intend to "wilt or cower." I'll leave that to the fucking Dems, or would, if I didn't think the FKDP
was actually doing what it believes in...
UPDATE Happy Fourth! I put up the flag! Really! No fireworks, of course. Even if it weren't raining, again, we couldn't afford them.

Obama to health care advocates "STFU!"
According to today's WaPo, Obama is insisting that liberal groups stop attacking Democrats who are wobbly on real health care reform. Instead, he wants these groups to put their energy into supporting his plan (whatever that is).
I guess he thinks those ads pushing Landreui and Feinstein and Hagan and Ben Nelson and Specter to do something that actually helps the American people are counterproductive.
So, either these senators went whining to the White House or Obama just doesn't like the insubordination. Those rowdy DFHs
.
Either way, let's keep up the pressure. Something's getting to them.
Assuming that public option actually "helps" ...
... the American people, which I don't assume for a minute.
So, the spectacle is of Obama telling career liberals to shut the fuck up because their way of supporting the private insurance industry isn't his way of doing it.
Delicious irony, but I care about the policy, rather than Obama losing the week (which, because of his admission of weakness, he just did).
