No logic to these guys at all
AP dutifully reports the following:
After fiercely defending his Iraq policy across Asia, President Bush abruptly toned down his attack on war critics Sunday and said there was nothing unpatriotic about opposing his strategy.
"People should feel comfortable about expressing their opinions about Iraq," Bush said, three days after agreeing with Vice President Dick Cheney that the critics were "reprehensible."
Well, which is it? Or is Bush saying that Democrats are comfortable being reprehensible? That would be in keeping with his past remarks.
Look, the Republicans and the VRWC--and the people who own Bush and the Republicans, the Funders--have spent a generation calling Democrats traitors. That's a lot of toothpaste to put back in the tube. And now they want to make nice? I don't think so.
["I think we should all just trust the President." Rimshot. Thank you, Britney!]
