If you have "no place to go," come here!

My God, it feels like August, 1914.

UPDATE: Oh yeah, its August 1914 all right. We are on our way to a great powers showdown. It's hubris city.

We are playing Nicholas II to Israel's Serbia.

This will not end well.

what great argument about nothing just more miss or unformed clowns. If Amerikan and its proxies won't have armed and paid every unemployed thug in the region this won't be happening. I read somewhere today the thug from the house of saud was the one paying off prison officials for a the big breakouts of late so they could get more thugs. The thugs are dying so fast they're running low on them. So what's 0 to do but launch a war and that will take all that nasty news off airwaves about the Amerikan govt. breaking the law. Amerika nothing but the biggest thug on the planet, how sad.

Gee, 0 going to war just like bush the lesser, yep change we can believe in.

I've been feeling something weird in the air too. Everybody's tired of war. Nobody wants more war. So what do we do? Open up a second front, like the Germans did in operation Barbarosa. Genius! What could possibly go wrong. It's like everyone is sleepwalking into a situation where:
1. Nobel Peace Prize President Obama is going to unilaterally approve an unprovoked and illegal act that will cause a state of war between the U.S. and Syria. That's an impeachable offense.
2. The Senate will not vote to declare a state of war.
3. What happens when Russia gets drawn in? What happens if the air bases in Turkey and Cypress get vaporized? What happens when someone decides that if it's okay to bomb Syria, then it's also okay to bomb New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Rome, and Tel Aviv? It would be ridiculously easy to create a lot of havoc. Would Bashar al Assad or anyone in their right mind take that sitting down?

Blame Edward Snowden, that's what they're going to do. It's like we're just sleepwalking into a catastrophe. I get the feeling something very bad is happening in the markets too. Maybe they need an oil price spike so all the pooh bahs will have something to blame for poor revenues, like they did with 9/11, even though nobody really stopped living at that time, or buying necessities.

The shit's going to definitely hit the fan though.

Interesting note at the end:

In a photo authenticated based on its contents and other A.P. reporting, Syrians inspect buildings damaged by heavy shelling from Syrian government forces in Aleppo...

The New Yorker is as much as saying its default for all information coming out of Syria is that it's bullshit or worse, fake.
