If you have "no place to go," come here!

Mission being accomplished!

Notice a trend?

The "new normal" is becoming more and more normal! Just wait 'til the next crisis.

(Chart from Steve Keen, in Business Spectator.)

That George Bush, huh. Yeah, the Iraq clusterfuck, but the Bush economy looks pretty darn good, doesn't it? I mean, if you want a job. And people get this. Obama's numbers are in the toilet:

Unease over the economy continues to drive these concerns. Sixty-five percent of those polled said the country is on the wrong track, compared with the 26% who said it was on the right one, a wider spread than in the midterm-election years of 2006 and 2010. Roughly one-quarter of the respondents think the economy will improve over the next year, while 57% believe the U.S. is still in a recession, despite years of modest economic growth and robust stock-market gains.

Ha ha. The Greatest Orator of This Or Any Time, Like EVAH is a fucking boat anchor in the mid-terms. Hey, Democrats! I've got an idea! Stop sucking!

Until it is recognized that the wage structure is completely out of whack/fucked, job numbers have no meaning. My sister landed a "good" job upon her return to the U.S. But due to many factors, she's needing to find a second job.
Even if I wanted to return to the states (which I don't) I'd be destitute and required to work as a wage slave.
Slavery is alive and well in the U.S.; but you know what? A lot of slaves (of yore) were treated better than many U.S. minimum wage employees today! And that's a fact.
Look it up. Hell, serfs were mostly treated better. Look it up.
