Hudson provides fascinating background, some things we've discussed here at Corrente, some things new to me, and some dire warnings.
As in the progression from democracy to oligarchy to aristocracy is definitely not over -- it's just beginning.

During the Bush II years, there was a great bit of snark about
how Bush/Cheney et al planned to get bulk of us into feudal servitude, 21st Century serfs. I've looked for the piece -- and I know I posted about it -- but have been unable to find it.
It also fits our President of the Golden Showers, eh?
Does anyone remember that piece? Wonderful snark; painfully on point. The writer took the theme, and in a not too long but substantial piece, showed what they Powers That Be had --and have-- in mind for us.
