It's a metaphor for our economic system--run as fast as you can

while kept in the dark about the real goings on and manipulations in the economy. But if you don't run...what happens? Or is it that we're so conditioned we do run, can't see alternative ways of existing and surviving, and we try to invest in the markets to get somewhere?

Compelling video. (I did fear they would kill the "winner.")

What do the tossed beads mean and are they beads? A way of betting a runner would get knocked out?
