In the garden: Rainy and miserable
Still learning how to work my spiffy new lenses. I've already misplaced the lens cap!
Here with the tele is a leaf from the remaining evil Norway Maple, from a branch that should really be trimmed back but I'd rather cut the whole tree down.
Still with the tele, hostas plus mess.
And another try with the macro. The depth of field seems really, really shallow. As it turns out, the natural world is in constant motion at the micro level -- who knew? -- and so I rested the iPad on an adjacent surface and then waited for some interesting portion of the web to move into focus. Not quite. Still, it's amazing to me that I can even see, let alone photograph spider webs, and so this is an improvement over the original iPad. I'm just not sure exactly how, yet.
