In the garden: More effloresence

Probably a bit too much like a dark tapestry, but that's what I did so that the white peony flower didn't flow out.

And I don't know what I did to deserve this:

As you can see, the plants are still very spindly. What did I do to deserve a tomato flower so early? (I gave them dried blood for nitrogen, but I thought that only affected stems and leaves; green stuff.)

I actually got a grill this year, so many I should be chopping up fresh scallions for a garnish? I don't know if their flavor goes all weird after they've flowered, however.

The chives should be fine to use. Dead head the flowers when they begin to turn brown. The garden is going to be spectacular this year! Let us know when the artists w/cameras start to snappy snap.
