The Moveon/Progressive candidate went down in flames. More from a local blogger, be sure to check out the comments.
Anyone know anything about this district? Will there be any emergent party candidates in the general election?

We've had Green Party candidates in the past. One was not really a Green, but a neo-Nazi pretending to be a Green, so that created some suspicion. Once another very young man who was an Iraq War Vet ran from the Green Party and he flamed out worse than Ilya. The District was supposed to have been redistricted to be more liberal or progressive, but what we acquired was part of Melissa Bean's old district, now that of none other than Joe Walsh. Not sure how by any stretch of the imagination that's liberal or progressive, but we got the more progressive end of it--people who voted for Obama in 2008 and then Joe Walsh in 2010. Go figure that one out.
