I left my power supply in the cafe...

... after blogging all day on Saturday, then got home and noticed that it was missing. (And of course the Macintosh has the kind of power supply Brancusi would have sculpted if he worked with edges, and it's absolutely not replaceable with any power supply manufactured by mere mortals.)
So, if a Repubublican had found my power supply, he would have worked on the theory that "actions have consequences," and sold it, or, more likely, just stolen it.
Of course, the cafe people found it, and saved it for me, and when I went in next day, loaded down with the Miller Times, they had saved it for me.
So, that action had consequences, too. For one thing, I went out the door smiling. For another, the network I live and work is just a tiny bit richer and stronger.
These people live in my neighborhood, too!
