How to trick the s****d b***hes into voting for Obama

vastleft's picture

Title expurgated for those of delicate sensibilities.

Just when you thought that Obama supporters couldn't get any more condescending. One of those HuffPosts that is so crystalline in its toxic intensity that quoting it just couldn't do it justice.

Real empathy is both a talent and a skill; the target audience of the HP piece is missing both or one.

Faking empathy with any credibility is a skill which takes years to build.

Good luck with that, kids.

I think the 'holdouts' have anticipated and already countered -- quite a while ago commenters on various PUMA and Clinton supporter sites started saying they've just taken to lying to the 'bots and saying they'll vote for Obama to shut up the pester brigades.

Oops! I let the cat out of the bag there, didn't I? Now none of y'all will believe me when I post my conversion narrative. Rats!

Really, this shit piece almost reads like a parody. If it wasn't from the HuffAndPuff I'd simply assume that it was a parody.

Crash courses in empathy, indeed.

As I was reading it, all I could think was that the author has personally distilled this first-year, third-tier business school "advice" to the thousand-and-one corporate bullshitting jerks I have to deal with in one way or another every damn day - at work, trying to right wrongs with various transactions, just trying to get the right shirts delivered, etc.

People who actually get out of their parents' basement already hear and see this BS every day. They need to find something that works with grownups.
