Donna Brazile deserves to be punished. I would be happy to contribute to the effort in returning the favour of kicking her out of the party.

It establishes the principle that within the Democratic Party the same rules apply to everybody. The grass roots members of the party are not required to be more loyal to the party than the unelected big wigs in the party. I am sure you are a fair person DCblogger so let me lay it out for you.

Democratic operative Donna Brazile, who became a millionaire by being a Democratic operative said, "If 795 of my colleagues decide this election, I will quit the Democratic Party. I feel very strongly about this."

She said, regardless of the rules, if her preferred candidate had an advantage in pledged delegates going into the convention and did not get the nomination she would bolt the party.

According to the Associated Press, Debra “Bartoshevich was elected by party activists as a pledged delegate for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton from the 1st Congressional District in southeastern Wisconsin.”

She said she would not support Sen. Obama and would vote for Sen. McCain if Hillary Clinton did not get the Democratic nomination. She later said she made her claim when she was upset and she did not know the rules for a delegate -- what with her not being a millionaire career political operative and all.

The Wisconsin Democratic Party stripped Bartoshevich of her credential as a delegate for the upcoming convention after consulting with the Democratic National party rules and bylaws committee.

Now then why DCblogger do you think Super Delegates should have special rules protecting their status when working class Democrats who are paying their own way as elected delegates do not?

I am not sure people would understand it in that way. But everyone must judge these things for themselves.

Donna went out of her way to use her power in the party to discourage, malign, and ridicule fellow Democrats, and it started at the very start of the process in January. The immaturity she displayed (i.e. replying to folks emails like some 13-year-old text messenger) didn't help. I will lose no sleep if the people she tried to grind under feel the need to use the party rules to deliver a message.

Oh yeah, and, Donna, as my momma' always told me, don't write a check your ass can't cash.

I have a couple of replies she sent back to me. I always belong to another board where quite a few of us all recounted the replies we recieved from her.

Lambert, if you'd like, you can even write her, yourself. She almost always answers back. No joke. To be clear and sure, some people purposefully wrote her letters to provoke a negative response, but many more wrote her letters about their concerns during the primary. Most all replies were rude and immature regardless of the senders tone.
