From the transcript where Obama puts Social Security and Medicare right back on the table:

The proposals that I put forward during the fiscal cliff negotiations in discussions with Speaker Boehner and others are still very much on the table. I just want to repeat: The deals that I put forward, the balanced approach of spending cuts and entitlement reform and tax reform that I put forward are still on the table.

I’ve offered sensible reforms to Medicare and other entitlements, and my health care proposals achieve the same amount of savings by the beginning of the next decade as the reforms that have been proposed by the bipartisan Bowles-Simpson fiscal commission. These reforms would reduce our government’s bill -- (laughter.) What’s up, cameraman? (Laughter.) Come on, guys. (Laughter.) They’re breaking my flow all the time. (Laughter.)

What an asshole. Laughing and joking while he plans to starve elders and deny health care to sick people because austerity makes his bankster owners happy.

Obama really is just like Bush, isn't he? Except for being his own Cheney, of course. It would be nice if "What's up, cameraman?" turned into Obama's "Now watch this drive" moment.

Administration, if there was another election cycle coming up.

It's amazing to me, too. So little has been mentioned about the Press Conference (that I've seen) generally, in spite of the fact that he seemed to genuinely "scoff at the base."

Guess it's just too 'par for the course,' to matter. And anyway, what's anybody going to do about it now.
