I've just finished reading "On Being Certain" which I really should review some day. It starts out with the case of a woman who is convinced that she is dead. When she is made to feel her pulse, her response is that that just shows that dead people have pulses too.

I was going to say that you needed to add the "so far" qualifier. Of course, like Homer Simpson, I think that should be a required qualifier of most statements.
