Good for Obama on Chicago sit-down

WaPo:

At a news conference Sunday, President-elect Barack Obama said Republic should follow through on its commitments to its workers.

Actually, Obama said more than that:

"The workers who are asking for the benefits and payments that they have earned, I think they're absolutely right and understand that what's happening to them is reflective of what's happening across this economy," Obama said.

What I like to hear. More like this, please. "If the people lead, the leaders will follow."

Now, how about we start looking for the missing two trillion in bank branches? And if somebody's got a better idea.....

Well, that calls for some celebration:

Wow

I must say I'm shocked. Perhaps, we hasn't totally forgotten where he came from. Now, if he goes down there with a picket sign, and then talks directly to the auto workers around the nation instead of simply telling us how bad management is (guess what? We know. lol) he'll have had me a "earned". ;)

But, we've always been at war with Eastasia...

Then why send Hildebrand to tell the left STFU?

How does "If the people lead, the leaders will follow" square with this:

"This is not a time for the left wing of our Party to draw conclusions about the Cabinet and White House appointments that President-Elect Obama is making...After all, he was elected to be the president of all the people - not just those on the left."

Who cares about workers and restoring the economy for all Americans? Certainly not the right.
