If you have "no place to go," come here!

Dem Feinstein to unemployed: "Go die!"

That's tellin' 'em!

FEINSTEIN: "The question comes, how long do you continue before people just don't want to go back to work at all?"

Why not give her a call, and share your feelings? No sexist language, please!

"Scumsucking weasel" would work, though! And be sure to tell her you're a former Democrat.

is out of work; if she did, there is no way she could have said that. And even if she doesn’t know anyone, does she not read a newspaper? Watch the TV? Both have frequently featured people who have been out of work for some time now, and all of whom have related that it really has not been like a fucking vacation trying to pay the bills, feed the family, keep the health insurance, pay the mortgage, - in other words, live - on unemployment payments. I don’t think there is anyone living like that who is saying, “maybe if I play my cards right I can live like this forever!”

Is there no constituent in California who has called or written to describe what it is like to be out of work for a year or more? How can she not know these things?

Shades of Barbara Bush (“this is really working out quite well for them:” post-Katrina, from the Houston AstroDome); the ignorance astounds. And abounds.

Is filthy rich.

Her husband has made great unholy shit tons of money from government contracts that she has steered his way. She's just making sure that the government largesse keeps going to the right people. The fact that California has over 12% (U3) unemployment is quite irrelevant.
