We read books: let's review them here! Leave your reviews in the comments.

Note: you need not write a long review. Just a few words telling us why you are mentioning the book can be useful. And feel free to stretch the definition of "book" if you like.

I'm reading The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, Rebecca Skloot's book about the woman who "donated" the original cells of the HeLa cell line. I was hoping to finish it in time to review it today :( But so far, I'm impressed. (Skloot is also one of the science bloggers who has jumped ship from ScienceBlogs recently.)

One word, fascinating. It's all about totalitarianism, manipulation, as well as dealing with the everyday difficulties of living under the Dome.

It is one of his best. A story with scale of The Stand, with the scope of Black House or Needful Things.

Will check it out. (ooooh, smileys!)

I have just finished "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest." The series was amazing.

I am so sad that we will never find out what happens to these characters. I have a sneaking suspicion that the next book would have been about the mysterious twin sister, Camilla.

Larson's partner of many years did have a hand in writing the books and knows the outlines of any future books.

So, if an agreement can be reached with the actual heirs (his longtime partner gets zip), maybe there will some more about these great characters.
