Concern trolls for Hillary Clinton

DCblogger's picture

So Joshua Micah Marshall has joined Kevin Drum and Paul Krugman in attacking Bernie for not giving up before his strongest states are due to vote, and for misleading people to think that the United States could ever have single payer health care, free university education, and double social security benefits, or do anything other than start wars and conduct surveillance on its own people. Bernie's biggest opponent in all this has never been Hillary, or even Wall Street, but that little voice inside us telling us that our country is no longer capable of greatness and a modified kleptocracy is the best we can hope for.

And please don't talk to me about Nevada. The Nevada Democrats broke their own rules, pulled a fast one, and Bernie's supporters called them on it. Maybe the Democratic National Committee should think twice before pulling a stunt like that in Philadelphia.

And don't talk to me about violence. No Bernie supporter threw a chair as this video demonstrates. No matter how many times a lie is repeated, it remains a lie. And I do not remember Harry Reid or any other Hillary super delegate expressing shock that a Bernie supporter was physically assaulted by a Hillary supporter. No do I remember Harry Reid expressing shock when shots were fired into the Sanders' campaign office in Nevada and apartment housing complex where campaign staff lived in was broken into and ransacked. No can I recall Harry Reid or anyone else demanding that the perpetrators be brought to justice.

I have no use for hypocrisy, double standards, and concern trolls.

You didn't give any particulars regarding Nevada. Apparently either not enough Bernie Delegates showed up, or they didn't show up because they were registered as independents an not as democrats.

Well said.

The only good I see coming from the legacy Dem's behavior is that a lot of people (especially younger ones) are seeing exactly what the party thinks about its constituents. Hopefully that will lead to something.
