This annoyed the crap out of me. Have at it, Corrente.It's been making the rounds on the blogs and is the very embodiment of the 'fear strategy' that Dems are using to convince people to vote for them. What pisses me off most about it is the "you'll get what you deserve" part at the end. Fuck you, Dem strategist who came up with that. No, you will get what you deserve, when this is all over. I won't forget this threat.

Heck, I couldn't tell the difference between the threats and
what the D's gave us! I mean, "buy cheap cr*p from China" helloooo subsidizing off-shoring!!!, "women shouldn't have control over their bodies'? hellooo EO codifying the Hyde amendment!! The "healthcare bill"?? and OMG the reference to the wars!! What planet are these people on? Maybe they should "threaten" us with SS cuts?!! Like the Obama commission has planned? The level of absolute denial of people's intelligence, or just plain arrogance astounds me.
It seems not to be snark to me.
All of the things described are what we have today with a Democratic president and huge majorities in both houses. If the Democrats were going to improve things, they would have already done it. So far, they've just passed legislation shoring up profits for corporations. So, yeah, if you want to work on any of the issues mentioned, maybe dealing with Republicans will get somewhere.

Why would anyone who hasn't been in a coma for the past few years be convinced by this? Plus the whole 'be afraid, be very afraid' thing totally pisses me off. You really have to be a loser to use fear as a motivator.
