on my tiny front porch this year, since plants really do fare better in the ground than in pots during our summers. unfortunately, the management of this place changed hands recently and the new folks are a bit fussier about what does and does not look good on the porches.

it's so interesting to see the two farmers again after a couple of years...from 2006:
(on my computer this vid is slightly odd and at one point one of the sisters is covered in green plants, which I believe is just a glitch...)

i'll have to check that out when i can find a computer with a faster internet connection mine.

i'd been reading about vacant lot gardening, but this was the first i'd seen of parking lot gardening. great stuff indeed.
