We were told that most people are not against a woman becoming president - just not "that" woman, Hillary Clinton, and this is seen as OK - a choice.

Yet when many people express the opinion that they are not against a black becoming president - just not "that" black, Brack Obama, this is pounced on - as racist.

Obama and most Democrats/Liberals used to be very critical of Bush's throwing out any part of the Constitution he wanted to that did not serve his political purposes.

Yet BO had no problem with throwing the FOURTH AMENDMENT under the bus, and except for a few strong, intelligent supporters, most swallowed hard and found excuse after excuse for his treating the Constitution just like Bush - especially the MSM. Read more…

In the space of only a few days, a 12 year-old Vermont girl was reported missing, frantically searched for and finally found dead. Internet’s, My Space, was implicated; a sex ring preying on young girls was suggested and the girl’s uncle was revealed as a serial sex offender and charged with kidnapping. The investigation continues.

Lots of sadness and tears; lots of hand wringing and questioning of the judicial system as the investigation continues but really nothing new, no insight. No one speaks of why we train our girls to be victims; needing and wanting the attention of a male to give them significance. Read more…

We just heard about blogs being attacked and/or forced to shut down because they are accused of spam.

Last week our e-mail list was attacked. We'd been sending out a weekly newsletter to hundreds of subscribers here and abroad for years. Then suddenly this week, our ISP, comcast, shut down our outgoing mail.

No explaination, no response until we contacted our Secretary of State and sent comcast a copy.

First they tried to say it was our mail program, Eudora, that was at fault, then after more prodding they admitted that we had been charged by some unidentified people of "sending spam".

I would be interested to know if anyone else has been contacted by the media looking for this information. I got a call this AM from a features reporter, Sam Hemmingway, at the Burlington Free Press [VT]. He called me after finding that I had been contributing to Senator Clinton's campaign regularly and for some time.

His main question was: "Do you regret spending all that money on a losing candidate?"

Once again recently, CNN guy stood up with big screen where he could show examples of what "THE BLOGS" were saying about Hillary.

And, surprise, surprise. There was no blog that had anything positive to report. Everyone on the blogisphere was cursing her for trying to get BO assinated.

The Pennsylvania Primary results threw a scare into the BO campaign and its supporters. Before, callers to talk radio and TV programs warned of “trouble” if the Super delegates chose HRC over BO.

Then the Pennsylvania exit polls showed that more than a third of the supporters of HRC would NOT vote for BO. No threats here, no mob action – just a peaceful protest for good reasons.

How quickly things change in Obamaland. It seems like only yesterday he was claiming over and over that his words DO matter. Now he is saying that either we misunderstood what he said or that he didn’t choose the right words.

Bush needed translators to explain what his words were and the media complied; now BO, who seemingly cannot use the words to say what he means, needs the media to translate what words he meant to say.

It appeared for a while there that voters who were fed up with nearly 8 years of the malapropos and fractured syntax of Bush were opting for clarity.
