This is a very long post and may be my last for a while. I’ll be back. Probably May or early June at the latest. If the title topics are of interest, the most pressing analysis of what is really happening today is near the end. This is a pulling together of countless posts over the years and an expansion of many topic discussed on here. I generally don’t provide such level of detail about certain topics because of the endemic plagiarism and pilfering on the internet but today I’m sharing an unfiltered stream of conscious post. I thought this post fitting today because it is April Fool’s Day. And, because we have been fooled repeatedly for the last two hundred years by banking criminals. It’s time to end the truly unjust, antidemocratic, criminal foolery of private, for-profit banking forever. Private, for-profit banking is responsible for endless crimes against humanity and against democracy. It’s time for democratic, public banking. Read below the fold...

Almost no large businesses today would exist without the force of the state. On some level I would say all of them fall far short of serving democracy in varying degrees. And in many ways that aren’t quite obvious, almost all major companies are looters of democracy that rely on the game being rigged in their favor by political idiots. We are in the midst of one hell of a farmland bubble in this nation. The evidence is that it’s far larger than the farmland bubble experienced during the late 70s and early 80s. A friend of my family sold their farm in the fourth quarter of last year and fetched $10,000 an acre. That might not seem like a lot but I can remember when prices were $2,000 an acre. Actually, I can remember less than that but I don’t want to date myself. Read below the fold...

"We are free today substantially, but the day will come when our Republic will be an impossibility. It will be an impossibility because wealth will be concentrated in the hands of a few." -- James Madison
Okay, first of all, the quote above, like many others from history, may be attributed to someone who never really said it. Who cares? It is attributable to a speech made in 1900 when the capitalist Robber Barons had enslaved all of us as have today’s Robber Barons. Read below the fold...
