If you have "no place to go," come here!

Annals of career "progressive" idiocy

Charles II:

Even if they’re p–sed at Obama, do they really want Republicans running Congress? The Senate can reform its rules. It can end the filibuster. If Democrats retain control of the Senate, it’s a pretty sure thing they will do so.

The Ds can end the filibuster tomorrow with the nuclear option. If they don't, it's because they don't want to, not because we didn't heed Charles II's pitch to give them more money and time.

If that were going to happen, it would already have happened.

NOTE A "pretty sure thing." Oh, OK.

My bad. Thank The God(ess)(e)(s) Of Your Choice, If Any, that I've got capable readers.

It is possible to post too rapidly...

a) The filibuster is what stands between the Democrats and good policy
b) The filibuster isn't something "progressives" will miss the next time the GOP has a Senate majority

What stands between Democrats and good policy is the Democratic Party. :p

I'd rephrase at:

All that stands between Democrats and good policy is the Democratic Party.

Then propagate. Perhaps as a sig?

But I'm leaning more towards, "Oh, go 'credential' yourself, Jerkface!" Sorry. Kind of an in-joke from another blog. You had to be there. :D
