That certain managers in the Secret Service are so STUPID to SEND EMAILS of their racist jokes and attitudes. That they actually HOLD those attitudes? Not so much. Ever wonder what those “good old boys” think and say about the wimmins?
As for those integrity-filled racist white voters in WV. You are so right, that is so much better than all of us racist white (and Hispanic, and Asian, and, and, and) Clinton voters who don’t have the integrity to admit we are racists when we don’t vote for Obama.
You see, 90% of African Americans vote for Obama on his merits and that is because they are not racists, or, in other words, race doesn’t matter to them. That makes 90% approval the benchmark, and therefore, any percent voting for her above 10% must be the racist vote.
It just breaks my heart. Really, it does. It’s enough to make you want to break down and cry. Just break down and CRY!

A Factor
All these measurements of race as “a” factor obscure the possibility that it might be one factor among many and not necessarily the _determining_ factor in a vote. “Well, ordinarily I’d think twice before voting for a black guy, but even the black guy would be better than McCain!” Is that really “confused”?

the press and others have been doing that all season and it’s wrong—it’s far more likely that basic familiarity, and Obama’s insulting of millions, his focus on non-issues and “change” and “hope”, and his lies and evasions about his associates, etc, are the reasons.

for a time it did look like we might actually achieve that goal. the seismic shift that brought about the end of lynchings and cross burnings and riding in the back of the bus and drinking from allowable water fountains looked poised to roll down the mountain and become a landscape-changing avalanche.
