you were talking about a website that’s jumped the shark? i guess i don’t have enough time to keep up with all of those. if true: sorry, Dark Lord. i still like you as a person and value what your site offers to people and/with/or good ideas. i really do, i mean that with nonono snark. but when it comes to being a Leader in The Herd, shit happens, and that shit happening means nothing about the “owners.” sites get lame, communities move on, good work is done elsewhere. such is life.
if GOS is past its use, and will fade by ’12, i won’t weep. indeed, i’ll buy OrangeSatan a glass of wine, the next time i see him, and say, “good job, man!”
Markos, SP, Amanda, Duncan, The Matts: none of them are wholly responsible for the “dimunition” of the quality of “their” communities. that’s the beauty of blogging. you write what you write, and people comment, follow, imitate, bitch, and lie about you/it; or they don’t. in the end, Quality always knows Quality, and will show so.
